About Us – The Essence of El Sabor del Alma
Hospitality is more than a business for us — it’s a way of life. It’s the feeling of warmth, connection, and the joy of sharing a meal made with heart and soul.
That’s why in 2015, we opened our first restaurant by the shores of Lake Balaton, lovingly known as the Hungarian Sea. It was there that we first embraced our philosophy of bridging the gap between local producers and the dining table. We believe in serving honest food — food that’s fresh, vibrant, and filled with the essence of the land.
Last year, when we decided to make Spain our new home, we knew we wanted to bring that same philosophy with us. Our mission is simple: to create a space where guests can savour the warmth of a home-cooked meal while celebrating the best local ingredients.
We work under the KM0 concept, which means we don’t serve frozen or heavily processed products. Instead, we’re committed to sourcing directly from local producers, ensuring every dish tells a story of freshness, quality, and authenticity.
Our goal is to make every guest feel like they’re part of our family — to create moments that feel like home.
